In the beginning..

History reveals that in 1909, a group of men stood at Broome Street, Cottesloe and overlooked a waste scrubland. Beneath the drab scrub and sandhills they envisaged a series of immaculate fairways, greens and trees. A desire was born to build their own links and play golf.

Welcome to Sea View Golf Club, the third oldest golf course in Western Australia having been opened in 1909.

The first occupant of the Reserves was the Cottesloe Golf Club. Sea View was formed and took over the lease in 1931. The current lease is current to the year 2026.

Sea View is a true links A grade championship golf course located in the picturesque beachside suburb of Cottesloe alongside a beautiful beach and looking out over the ocean to Rottnest Island. A nine hole repeating course that has been designed to test your skills, the course presents a highly regarded test for players of all levels, but is also renowned for its playability. A course that will at all times make you play to your potential.

Australian golfing legend Norman Von Nida nominated Sea View’s par three 4th hole as one of the top ten par threes in Australia. (..link to history booklet)
