You Club has a suite of insurance policies two of which will be of particular interest to members. First the cost of loss or damage to your golfing equipment, including clothing and accessories designed and purchased for use on a golf course, is covered to a value of $5,000 in any one claim. Coverage is Australia wide and not overseas, a $250 excess applies. Second you are covered for personal accident insurance while playing golf. Death and lump sum payments of $100,000 apply. Alternatively weekly benefits of 80% of income lost to a maximum of $1,000 per week apply. The latter benefit is for a maximum period of 52 weeks but the first 14 days are not covered.
