Head Professional - Tristan McCallum Course renovation March Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th The greens committee has decided to renovate the golf course at a different time this year. The course / pro shop will be completely shut on Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th (am only). From the Secretary's desk - Chris Bennett Member insurance You Club has a suite of insurance policies two of which will be of particular interest to members. First the cost of loss or damage to your golfing equipment, including clothing and accessories designed and purchased for use on a golf course, is covered to a value of $5,000 in any one claim. Coverage is Australia wide and not overseas, a $250 excess applies. Second you are covered for personal accident insurance while playing golf. Death and lump sum payments of $100,000 apply. Alternatively weekly benefits of 80% of income lost to a maximum of $1,000 per week apply. The latter benefit is for a maximum period of 52 weeks but the first 14 days are not covered. Annual general meeting The Club's AGM will be held at the Clubhouse commencing at 6:00pm on Wednesday 25th March. This will be your opportunity to meet with your board members after what has been an outstanding 2019. We look forward to seeing you there. Bag tags 2020 bag tags are available from the office. Red tags will be issued for buggy storage areas and blue tags for other memberships. Bags stored in the buggy room with out the appropriate tag may be removed with outnotice. News from the Bar Bar Manager - Jenny Gloza dIt's that time of the year again, don't forget to join the Club's footy tipping competition! The Club encourages members, family and friends to join our annual footy tipping competition. Entry is $25.00 CASH and should be paid to Clayton, Tristan or the office. Member notice - Paul Edmondson Paul Edmondson's daughter Jana is partaking in the Run for a Reason for a charity called "biorehab for kids" which helps her directly get therapy in Perth which normally she would have to fly to Singapore for twice a year. This charity helps kids with Cerebral Palsy get "ABR" Therapy which strengthens their core , myofascia and improves overall health.
This year Jana has a high target of $5000 and already she is the top fundraiser in Perth for the Run for a Reason.
